Family Setting

One of the perks of being a family doctor is the closeness you develop with the families in your care. We have found that keeping families together is important in order to provide the highest quality of care for all family members.  It is also much more efficient and satisfying for both patients and physicians.  Therefore, we ask that all members of your family that are seen in our clinic have the same doctor.  This not only improves continuity of care, but also allows your doctor to provide better and more personal care for all family members.  Some individuals prefer a physician of a certain gender.  We have found, however, that due to the personable and caring nature of all our doctors, even those individuals find that the gender barrier seems to disappear within one or two visits and they become very comfortable with their doctor.  For the occasional patient who still considers this to be a barrier, they always have the option of seeing one of the male or female nurse practitioners or physicians assistants that work closely with the doctors.
